Kim Taehyung, also known as “V” from the K-pop group, BTS, placed first in Starmometer’s “100 Asian Heartthrobs of 2018” list. According to the entertainment blog, the list ranks the top 100 “good-looking, charismatic, and influential male celebrities across the Asian continent.” To help determine which celebrities make the list, Starmometer asked fans from around the world to vote for their favorite Asian celebrities.
The results from the month-long poll came out today, showing TV series stars, K-pop artists, sports personalities, models, and movie actors among the top 100.
Gaining a total of 3,041,030 votes across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Starmometer.com, South Korea’s Kim Taehyung claimed the title of the “Ultimate Asian Heartthrob of 2018.” Coming in second place was Thailand’s Suradet Piniwat,who earned a total of total of 2,775,929 votes, only 265,101 votes less than Kim Taehyung.

Also among the top 100 are fellow BTS members Jeon Jungkook, Park Jimin and Kim Seokjin, placing 31st, 33rd, and 46th.

Last year, Kim Taehyung also placed first on TC Candler’s “100 Most Handsome Faces of 2017” list. Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin also ranked, coming in at #13 and #64.
